One way to treat headaches, anxiety or stress is with essential oils. They’re very concentrated essences of plants, and they hold a very high energy level. Essential oils have many useful properties: they can be antibacterial, relaxing, antifungal, detoxifying, and more.
Lavender essential oil (Lavandula Angustifolia) has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. This plant originates in Mediterranean regions, and it takes it name from the Latin Lavare (to wash). The flowers are valued for their soothing and sedating properties.
To reduce headaches or anxiety, you can either add a couple of drops of essential oil of lavender to a bath or, you can make a steam bath. Another option is to make a delicious lavender lemonade (video below). Enjoy!
