Hops has sedative properties. It can be used to make a relaxing decoction for the bath. - St. John’s Wort.
St. John’s Wort is a great antidepressant herb. This herb is good to have around when the winter blues begin to set in, as it helps with mood. - Lavender (inhalation has a sedative effect).
Lavender is an inexpensive plant used to improve mood, relax muscles and sooth the nerves.
